The ground rules — kept short and fair.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use CapSTEP. If you're under 18, please use it under a parent or guardian's supervision.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Do not share your account.
• Provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts created with false details or used to harm others.

CapSTEP is a personal money tracking tool. It helps you record your own accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, debts and investments.

• It is not a bank, a broker, a payment app or a licensed financial advisor.
• Nothing shown in the app is investment, tax or legal advice. Please consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
• Numbers, charts and projections are estimates based on what you enter. Verify them against your source records.

Please do not:

• Attempt to access anyone else's data, tokens or account.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Upload malware, illegal content, or someone else's confidential information through Support attachments.
• Resell or repackage CapSTEP as your own product without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with or without notice.

CapSTEP is an evolving product. We may add, change or remove features. When changes are material, we'll flag them inside the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — including fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capitance and CapSTEP are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any financial loss arising from decisions you make based on data in the app. Our total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹0 if the service is free for you).

Paid plans (if any) are billed as stated at checkout. Refund requests within 7 days of purchase are honoured in full, provided the plan hasn't been misused. Beyond 7 days, refunds are considered case by case.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of the state where Capitance is registered.
